MUMBAI, INDIA: After enjoying a good success in the Indian market, Seclore, an information security software company is all geared up to tap new clients in the Europe and Asian markets.
“Strategy for outside India markets is through expansions with non-owned subsidiaries – where the local companies forms a mutually exclusive partnerships, gets customers and provides Seclore’s products and solutions,” said Vishal Gupta, Seclore CEO.
According to Gupta, Seclore recently announced strategic partnership with Singapore based Fuji Xerox.
“Besides this, we also have formed such partnerships in the western European region that include alliance with Germany’s Simbit, Netherland’s Infraccent and one in the UK,” he informed.
The nature of these mutually exclusive partnerships is of principal to principal and not principal to agent nature. “We are focusing on south Asia and western European markets, where we don’t have our presence. We are looking for premium partnerships in south Asia and Europe,” Gupta said.

In order to tap customers in these markets, Seclor will localize its products and solutions with local language support. “We are focusing on customer growth and not on revenues. By the end of next year, we are targeting around 1000 deployments but no revenue targets,” Gupta explained.
Given this major business plan, Seclore will hire around 10 freshers in next 2-3 months largely in the technical space – product development and delivery.
The IIT Bombay incubated and promoted company provides information security and rights management solutions to enterprise and businesses.
Its large customer base comes from verticals such as diversified groups, banking and financial services, engineering and hi-tech manufacturing along with defense and investigative authorities in governments.
These four sectors generate around 90 percent revenues and rest 10 percent comes from other sectors. Company has 140 odd customers largely based in India, which drive 80 percent of total revenue, while rest 20 percent comes from overseas markets. In addition around 1.8 million users have installed Seclore’s software products.
